He was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Grays Inn in 1994. Since then, he has worked as a training consultant writing and teaching courses in English law, language and communication for overseas lawyers in the UK and abroad. His work as a legal trainer has mostly been with overseas commercial and corporate lawyers; both in-house counsel and those in private practice. He has worked as a visiting lecturer at London University. He has also worked as a Barrister specializing in immigration and employment law.

 For training purposes, he specializes in teaching Comparative, Company and Commercial Law as well as communication skills for lawyers such as negotiation, presentation, contract drafting and legal writing.

 His experience as a training consultant spans over twenty years and he has taught at some of Europe's leading International firms (including Freshfields and Allen & Overy), banks (including BNP/Paribas and Deutsche Zentral Bank), consulting firms (including Pricewaterhouse-Coopers and KPMG) and multinational companies (including BAT and Sony). He has also trained in-house counsel working in the oil, gas, leisure and electronic industries as well as numerous business executives working in those areas.

 Currently, he works as a trainer and consultant delivering courses in English law and communication to the young German associates of Freshfields, Bruckhaus, Derringer in London.
