🌐 Exciting International Student Round Table on Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Society 🤖 On November 8, 2023, a thought-provoking international student round table took place, diving deep into the world of "Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Society." This engaging event was a collaborative effort between the Foreign Languages Department at Law Institute of Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU) and Bournemouth University (BU). 🤝 Co-Chairs of the event: Olena Titova, Head of the Foreign Languages Department at Law Institute of Kyiv National Economic University, and Dr. Steph Allen, representing Bournemouth University. Leading the coordination efforts was Volodymyr Machuskyy. Invited guest - Niall Foster, a visiting KNEU MBA lecturer. 📚 The round table featured the active involvement of esteemed teachers from the Foreign Languages Department, including Valentyna Titova, Iryna Arhatiuk, Valentyna Burlii, Tetiana Huliar, Svitlana Nedilchenko, Inna Leshchenko, Alena Lukianova, Viktoriia Zyma, Lidiia Hladchenko, Olena Tymchenko, Olena Chyryk, Kosovets Maryna, Chobitko Vasylii, Formaniuk Oksana, Volodymyr Machuskyi, Bohdan Chyzh and colleagues from Bournemouth University, Dr Steph Allen, Joseph McMullen, and Dr Nicolette Barsdorf-Liebchen. 🎓 The highlight of this event was the incredible participation of students from both KNEU Law Institute and Bournemouth University. They showcased their dedication and intellectual prowess by presenting insightful reports and posing challenging questions to our esteemed speakers. 🔍 The atmosphere was characterized by collaborative efforts to decipher the essence, role, and significance of Artificial Intelligence in our contemporary society. 🎙 The first academic from BU, Joseph McMullen, opened the panel session with a compelling report on "Human Rights, Tort, and AI". Dr. Nicolette Barsdorf-Liebchen continued the intellectual discourse with her thought-provoking presentation, "AI and the Corporate Personhood: Melancholy Reflection." 👏 Students from the Law Institute, KNEU including Tymur Aleksandrov, Egor Poliakov, Vitalii Kisilchuk, Nazarii Savchuk, Anastasia Vasiakina, Sonya Rengevich, Yelyzaveta Ternavska, played a significant role in this intellectual relay. Bournemouth University students Dimitar Bogdanov, Ocean Bennett, and Jasmine White represented the Bournemouth University Law Society. 🌍 This round table was not only informative but also enriched our collective understanding of Artificial Intelligence as a dynamic and integral social phenomenon in the modern digital society. 🤝 As a result of this collaboration, the participants expressed their optimism for future cooperation, including the potential for hosting a joint conference dedicated to the lawful problem-solving in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
