Educational Programme "Private Law"081 "LAW" Program guarantor: Kykot Pavlo, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Private Law https://kneu.edu.ua/en/depts5/jf_kcivil/jf_kcivil_teachers/Kikot_Pavlo_Valerijovich/ e-mail: pavlo.kykot@kneu.edu.ua The educational and professional program "Private Law" is aimed at training highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of knowledge 08 "Law", specialty 081 "Law", who have in-depth knowledge of legal theory and practice in legal support of entrepreneurship and professional competencies and innovative technologies of legal support of entrepreneurial activity nationally and internationally. Characteristics of the educational and professional program The educational and professional program is focused on practical education. The educational process is based on innovative teaching technologies, problem solving lectures, press conferences, business games, case methods, the latest technologies of information visualization in class. The program is implemented in cooperation with leading Ukrainian legal research institutions, professional associations of lawyers, state institutions that carry out law enforcement activities, where students undergo on-the-job training. A special feature of the program is that it ensures the acquisition of competencies that correspond to the modern professional profile of a lawyer and are the basis for applied legal activity and, along with this, guarantees the learning of modern philosophical ideas and concepts of law, forms skills of using tools of institutional legal and applied analysis, develops humanistic value-worldview orientations and creative thinking of a professional in the field of law, his/her professional and humanitarian communication. The educational and professional program "Private Law" assigns 20 ECTS credits for on-the-job training. Components of the educational program: LIST OF ELECTIVE EDUCATIONAL COMPONENTS included in the Catalog of elective academic disciplines for the 2023-2024 academic year full-time (intramural) and part-time modes of study the following number of academic disciplines which may be chosen from each semester: 1st semester: 3 disciplines; 2nd semester: 3 disciplines. Upon completion of the educational program, graduates are able to complete research and/or innovative tasks in the field of law, in particular: LO 1. Assess the nature and character of social processes and phenomena, and demonstrate understanding of the limits and mechanisms of their legal regulation; LO 2. Correlate the modern system of civilizational values with legal values, principles and professional ethical standards; LO 3. Collect, integrate, analyze and generalize materials from various sources, including scientific and professional literature, databases, digital, statistical, textual and others, and verify their reliability using modern research methods; LO 4. Make a presentation of their research on a legal topic, using primary sources and methods of legal interpretation of complex comprehensive problems arising from this research, argue conclusions; LO 5. Communicate fluently in a professional foreign language (one of the official languages of the Council of Europe) orally and in writing; LO 6. Reasonably formulate their legal position, be able to oppose, evaluate evidence and provide convincing arguments; LO 7. Discuss complex legal problems, propose and substantiate solutions; LO 8. Evaluate the reliability of information and the reliability of sources, effectively process and use information for conducting scientific research and practical activities; LO 9. Generate new ideas and use modern technologies in the provision of legal services; LO 10. Analyze the interaction of international law and international legal systems with the legal system of Ukraine based on understanding the basic modern legal doctrines, values and principles of the functioning of law; LO 11. Use advanced knowledge and methods in the process of lawmaking and law enforcement of institutions of public and private law and criminal justice; LO 12. Conduct a comparative legal analysis of individual institutions of law of different legal systems, taking into account the relationship of the legal system of Ukraine with the legal systems of the Council of Europe and the European Union; LO 13. Analyze and evaluate the practice of applying individual legal institutions; LO 14. Substantiate the legal position at different stages of law enforcement; LO 15. Have practical skills in solving problems related to the implementation of procedural functions of law enforcement entities; LO 16. Take a productive part in the development of draft normative legal acts, substantiate the social conditionality of their adoption, predict the results of their impact on relevant public relations; LO 17. Integrate the necessary knowledge and solve complex problems of law enforcement in various fields of professional activity. |
