In 1994, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences on the topic “Logical and Epistemological Analysis of Common Sense in Military-Scientific Cognition”. In January 2010, at the Specialized Academic Council at the Scientific Research Institute of Private Law and Entrepreneurship of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, he defended his PhD dissertation on the topic: “Approximation of Contract Law of the European Union Member States: Main Means and Directions” in the specialty 12.00.03 – Civil Law and Civil Procedure; Family Law; International Private Law. Doctor of Law since 2021. The dissertation on the topic “Institute of Interpretation (Construal) in European Contract Law: Theoretical and Civilistic Principles” was defended on “03” September 2021 in two specialties 12.00.01 – Theory and History of State and Law; history of political and legal doctrines and 12.00.03 – civil law and civil procedure; family law; private international law in the specialized council D 26.007.04 at the National Academy of Internal Affairs, received diploma DD No. 012651 dated November 30, 2021. In 2023, the academic title of “Professor of the Department of Theoretical Jurisprudence” was awarded.
