Pack 2 “ADVANCED STUDY OF THE SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE” (ELECTIVE 3rd-7th TERMS)Second Foreign Language (elective, 3-7 semesters) The subject "Second Foreign Language (Chinese, Spanish, German)" is taught in the second, third and fourth years of the bachelor's level of training in all specialties of the Law Institute. The subject is taught taking into account the levels of foreign language proficiency according to the CEFR scale. The purpose of the subject is the practical mastery of speech skills by students at the basic level for communication in the chosen language in 4 types of speech activity: listening, speaking, reading and writing in typical situations. Formation of foreign language communicative competence in students and implementation in the process of education, upbringing and development of the student's personality; acquisition by students of linguistic, linguistic and cultural knowledge and formation of a system of speech skills in speaking, reading, writing and listening. Prerequisites for studying the academic discipline: understanding language as a system of signs, sound and graphic aspects of a speech sign, knowledge of the theoretical foundations of speech activity, the ability to use the acquired knowledge in practice. The subject of studying the academic discipline "Second Foreign Language (Chinese, Spanish, German)" is the communicative competence of the chosen language, the ability and skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing in the chosen language. The task of the academic discipline "Second Foreign Language (Chinese, Spanish, German)" is to form in higher education students the ability and skills of communicating in the chosen language in various everyday situations, to form lexical and grammatical skills in the chosen language, to form listening and reading competencies, to cultivate respect for the culture, history and modernity of the country whose language is being studied. As a result of studying the academic discipline, higher education applicants must: know: the features of the phonetic, grammatical, lexical and phraseological composition of the chosen language; linguistic, speech and cultural norms of communicating in the chosen language; a certain lexical and grammatical minimum; be able to: communicate freely in the chosen language on the studied topics; conduct conversations in the chosen language on educational, everyday and other topics, taking into account the cultural aspect of speech; perceive the chosen language by ear (from audio and video recordings of the initial level of complexity, etc.); possess: appropriate skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) for creating messages in the chosen language, communicating with native speakers of the chosen language; skills in using information sources, in particular, written and electronic dictionaries in the chosen language. The content of the academic discipline is revealed in five content modules, which present and study the basics of the chosen language, namely the hieroglyphic and phonetic systems, basic grammatical norms, as well as consider linguocultural information about the country whose language is being studied, in particular about the geography, history and traditions of the country whose language is being studied, the formation and training of basic lexical, grammatical, communicative skills in the chosen language takes place. An important place in the course is given to the acquisition and practice of communication skills in the chosen language. Tasks (learning objectives): As a result of studying the academic discipline, students must: acquire skills in practical command of a foreign language in various types of speech activity within the scope of topics determined by professional needs; learn to conduct oral monological and dialogical speech on various topics at the everyday level; to study the main features of the phonetic, lexical, and grammatical systems of the chosen language; to obtain basic knowledge about the culture, geography, customs, and traditions of the country whose language is being studied.
