Biography:
Graduated from Kyiv University named after Taras Shevchenko (1992), diploma with honors, specialty - social and political sciences.
 
In 1992-1997, she studied at the graduate school of the Faculty of Philosophy of Shevchenko KNU, and in 2004-2006 - doctoral studies of the same faculty.
 
In 1997, she defended her candidate's thesis on the topic "The problem of determining the worldview and methodological foundations of political knowledge (social and philosophical aspect)".
and in 2006 - a doctoral dissertation on the topic "Modern Russian geopolitical concepts: origins, foundations, evolution".
 
In 2010, she received the certificate of professor of the Department of Political Science.

Professor M.A. Shulga is the author of more than 190 scientific works, including 4 monographs; 3 textbooks and 9 teaching aids, including 5 with the seal of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, more than 150 articles in scientific journals, 14 educational and methodological works; articles in 6 encyclopedic editions, etc.
 
She trained 8 candidates of sciences, 2 doctors of sciences and 1 doctor of philosophy in the field of knowledge 28 "Public management and administration" in the specialty 281 "Public management and administration". He supervises master's and PhD students at Taras Shevchenko KNU.
 
In 2021, she completed an international internship under the qualification improvement program "Fundraising and organization of project activities in educational institutions: European experience" for teaching and research and teaching staff (Poland-Ukraine).
