International and European Law Department

The Department teaches international-law-related disciplines at the Law Faculty and other faculties with the profound presentation of issues of the legal regulation of international economic relations at the global and regional (European) level, as well as the foreign economic activities. The Department is a core department for the speciality of Jurisprudence and has developed Bachelor and Master-level curricula for Jurisprudence students.

Teachers of the Department have a broad range of scientific interests directly determined by the disciplines being taught: they include issues of the harmonisation of the legislation of Ukraine with the European Union law, the specific features of the legal nature of acts of the European Union, procedures of the political and legal decision making in the EU, the co-operation of states and international organisations in the field of economy, prejudicial decisions of the European Court, international commercial agreements, the European experience in the protection of human rights, etc.

The Department is focused on the training of specialists freely oriented in international law issues of the modern legal environment.
